If you stalk her enough, she’ll eventually love you.
— Gatsby, The Great Gatsby (via hisfuturejuliet)
Date someone who is interested in you. I don’t mean someone who thinks you’re cute or funny. I mean someone who wants to know every insignificant detail about you. Someone who wants to read every word you write. Someone who wants hear every note of your favourite song, and watch every scene of your favourite movie. Someone wants to find every scar upon your body, and learn where each one came from. Someone who wants to know your favourite brand of toothpaste, and which quotes resonate deep inside your bones when you hear them. There is a difference between attraction and interest. Find the person who wants to learn every aspect of who you are.
Happiness is the meaning and the purpose of life, the whole aim and end of human existence.
She lies about how she’s feeling, how she’s hurting, how she wants you when she tells you she doesn’t. She lies to protect you and herself.
— Tarryn Fisher, Thief (via fathomage)
The only difference between the saint and the sinner is that every saint has a past, and every sinner has a future.
A tongue has no bones but it can break a heart.

I don’t have a fear of commitment. I have a fear of abandonment. We all screw things up. I screw things up, especially with people I love. I get needy, I get moody, I get distant, I want to be close, I get confused. I don’t understand all of it, but I keep pushing because I hope this thing, this universe, there’s no way that I’m the only person out there who wants something this bad, if I want it, someone else out there must too.
I should have loved you less.
I should have loved myself more.
